JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is not moved by attempts to discredit the state's case against Shadrack Sibiya.
NPA’s spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said they remain confident that they have a watertight case.
His comments come after Sibiya's lawyer, Estelle Killian, tried to poke holes in the testimony of Investigating Officer Nokukhanya Ndlovu, who is part of the Madlanga Commission’s Recommendations Task Team.

Killian argued that the sexual offences charges against her client are not within that specialised police unit’s scope of operation.
The suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner was slapped with an additional charge of neglect in handling a firearm.
This is in addition to five charges, including rape, trafficking of persons and sexual grooming of a child, for which he has been arrested.
His bail application will continue on Friday.
