GQEBERHA - Many patients in Zwide wake up at the crack of dawn to avoid long queues at their local clinic.
They still end up waiting for hours for medical help, and often without food.
A non-profit organisation has stepped in and provides meals, mostly to elderly patients, on chronic medication.
Nikelolitha, supported by local businesses, provides over 200 patients with a warm meal of soup and bread three days a week, at a cost of R700.
