Operation Shanela | Police target criminals in KZN

DURBAN - Operation Shanela is underway in KwaZulu-Natal.

The operation is a police initiative to reduce serious crimes.

Several of the province’s stations feature strongly in most crime categories as reflected in the latest crime statistics.

On Friday, The quarterly crime stats revealed a decline in murder and sexual offences.

Police minister Bheki Cele says the slight declines can be attributed to operation Shanela.
