JOHANNESBURG - The Border Management Authority says operations at all ports of entry continue despite increased traffic volumes.
OR Tambo International Airport recorded over 24,500 movements on Wednesday alone, with the Beitbridge and Lebombo Borders confirming close to 20,000.
On the same day, 139 illegal entries were intercepted at Beitbridge.
The BMA's drone technology also helped to capture illicit goods worth R35,000 in or near Beitbridge.
