Parliament awaits probe into Mkhwanazi allegations probe

CAPE TOWN - Parliamentary committees investigating Police Minister Senzo Mchunu are expected to finalise their frameworks in the coming week.

National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza has tasked the Police, Justice, and Intelligence Committees to probe the explosive allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

Mkhwanazi has accused Minister Mchunu, along with Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya and other top officials, of political interference and corruption.
