Phalatse: My position is not in danger

JOHANNESBURG - Mayor Mpho Phalatse says Makhubele and her supporters must be harshly condemned.

This after the High Court in Johannesburg interdicted a planned special sitting to oust Phalatse.

The meeting was called by the council’s Chair of Chairs Colleen Makhubele along with other minority parties.

The ruling also interdicts Makhubele from acting as the speaker.

Phalatse says the office of the speaker remains vacant.
