JOHANNESBURG - The police captain accused of raping a trainee has been granted R8,000 bail.
The court finds state's concerns of intimidation being flight risk are unsubstantiated.
The 59-year-old officer appeared before the Pretoria Magistrate's Court earlier on Monday.
The matter has been postponed to 9 September.
