JOHANNESBURG - The SAPS is ramping up its crime-fighting efforts ahead of the festive season.
Its national Safer Festive Season Operations will be launched in Mpumalanga today.
Police have vowed to intensify operations to boost visibility, prevent crime and keep communities safe.
Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia is expected to receive the national operational plan from Acting National Commissioner Puleng Dimpane.
