JOHANNESBURG - Police are raiding the last known hideout of escaped rapist and murdered Thabo Bester.
Bester is on the run after escaping from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein, last year.

In May 2022, Bester faked his own death and escaped from the centre.
The Correctional Services Department has now taken over operations at the prison.
