Police search for bodies of zama zamas in Riverlea

JOHANNESBURG - The body of one zama zama has been found and brought up from a disused mine close to Riverlea in Johannesburg. 

The Joburg Metro Police Department and forensic scientists are on the scene.

It's uncertain how many bodies are inside.

Teams are working to retrieve more bodies.

It's also unknown whether they have been trapped there since a shootout last week after which five bodies were found.
