JOHANNESBURG - A political analyst said political horse-trading may have paved the way for Rise Mzansi MP Makashule Gana's election as impeachment committee chairperson.
Gana was elected to lead the 31-member committee.

The committee will determine whether President Cyril Ramaphosa should face impeachment proceedings in relation to the Phala Phala matter.
Analyst Sethulego Matebesi said tensions may be there, but the members will have to remember the reason for the committee
