Political killings on the rise in Mpumalanga

MKHONDO, Mpumalanga - Family members of three slain ANC members in Mkhondo in Mpumalanga are gripped by fear.

Sibonelo Mthembu, a local councillor, and his two friends were gunned down on Friday night.

It’s suspected their killing is related to ongoing political violence in the area.

Police Minister, Bheki Cele, visited the families assuring them police are close to nabbing the perpetrators.

The family of Mthembu hopes justice will prevail.
