QWAQWA - The ANC in the Free State is working tirelessly to regain support in Qwaqwa.
It faces stiff political competition from new parties in one of its traditional strongholds.
The party's deputy chairperson said it's time they prioritise service delivery to residents.
ANC Free State deputy provincial chairperson, Ketso Makume, said they are not threatened.
“What threatens us is the issue of service delivery. You know, when people don't get water, when people get the most interrupted electricity, when people move with their cars on roads that have, uh, potholes, that's what threatens us. So that is why we really need to work hard.
“And the changes we have seen in municipalities are to ensure that we work hard to bring about changes so that the issue of service delivery is an issue of the past.”
