JOHANNESBURG - Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union, Popcru says there isn't much for the men and women in blue to celebrate this National Police Commemoration Day.

"One of the things we think should be done beyond just commemorating is for an increase in the death grant."
"Most SAPS members who get killed are young and have small kids."
"[The] grant won't take their kids to school. These resources must assist for the youngsters go to school and we feel that that's something that the government needs to address."
