Power cuts suspended until 5pm

JOHANNESBURG - Power cuts have been suspended until 5pm on Sunday.

Eskom says this is due to sufficient recovery in generating capacity and pumped storage dam levels.

The country has been on stage 4 blackouts for the past few days.

The power utility says it will confirm the blackout stage to be implemented on Sunday evening, some time on Sunday afternoon.
