Presidency Budget | MPs demand tougher action from govt to fix challenges

JOHANNESBURG - Opposition parties in Parliament have slammed President Cyril Ramaphosa for South Africa’s ballooning cabinet, rampant corruption, and not acting against compromised Ministers.

Ramaphosa tabled the Presidency’s 2025/2026 Budget in the National Assembly on Wednesday, highlighting government’s focus on boosting infrastructure investment to ensure infrastructure development becomes the flywheel of economic growth.

He will respond to the debate this Thursday.
