Presidency hits back at DA's Mashatile corruption 'docket'

PRETORIA - The Presidency is hitting back at the DA's corruption allegations against Deputy President Paul Mashatile.

It says the party using threats of laying criminal charges to have demands met shows its political motives.

The DA visited the Union Buildings on Friday to hand over a docket to the Presidency.

It contained allegations of criminality against Mashatile.

The Presidency says the normal procedure is to lay criminal charges at a police station.

And, that the evidence should be tested and verified by competent authorities.
