President to meet with Eskom board

JOHANNESBURG - The Eskom board is expected to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa and opposition party leaders Sunday night.

The board is giving an update on the energy crisis, as stage 6 blackouts continue.

Ramaphosa will update on progress on plans announced in June 2023

GOOD party leader, Patricia de Lille says she will be attending that meeting.

Due to the ongoing energy crisis, President @CyrilRamaphosa has cancelled his working visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos. Currently the President is convening a meeting with leaders of political parties represented in parliament,NECCOM and the Eskom board.
