KINSASHA - Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi has been sworn in as the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
President Cyril Ramaphosa was one of the many heads of African States who attended the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony in Kinshasa.

Tshisekedi, won a second term, after sweeping elections, which the opposition branded a sham.
He is the son of late opposition figure Etienne Tshisekedi.
He was elected to power in 2019 and promised to improve living conditions in the DRC.
He failed to do this.
