Probe underway into Richards Bay factory fire

RICHARDS BAY - Investigations are continuing into runaway fires that ripped through Richards Bay on Saturday.

It is not yet clear what started the blaze at a woodchip factory.

It was,  however, extinguished with no injuries reported, but fire and rescue services remain on the ground.

Umhlathuze Mayor, Xolani Ngwezi, is urging residents to stay calm but take precautions.
