JOHANNESBURG - A public prosecutor has been shot dead in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
It's understood that four armed men attacked Tracy Brown in front of her partner and child.
She was shot assassination-style while sitting in her car.
Her murder follows the killing of Elona Sombulula, from the Engcobo Magistrates Court in April.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
It's unclear at this stage what the motive for her murder is.
The National Prosecuting Authority says her murder is an attack on the rule of law.
