Questions over political neutrality as Lekganyane chairs Ad Hoc Committee

JOHANNESBURG - ANC MP, Soviet Lekganyane, will lead Parliament’s ad hoc committee that will investigate claims of political interference and corruption in the police.

Kwazulu Natal Police Commission, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, has implication police minister Senzo Mchunu and other senior officials of interfering in investigations and being linked to gangsters.

The President has set up an enquiry and last month parliament established an ad-hoc committee to probe the claims.
