DURBAN - More than R1 million worth of drugs has been seized in Phoenix, north of Durban.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested at a property on Rinkford Road.
The Durban Metro Police Tactical Support Unit carried out the operation.
Police said the unit gathered intelligence from drug buyers in the area.
A search warrant was obtained after weeks of investigation.
Mandrax tablets, cocaine and heroin were seized during the operation.
