Ramaphosa delivers G20 Social Summit Closing Ceremony keynote address

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa's addressed the closing ceremony of the G20 Social Summit on Thursday.

Various organisations have been engaging on global issues that directly impact people's daily lives.

The ceremony featured the formal presentation of the Summit Declaration, communicating the commitments that were made over three days of dialogue. 

The social summit includes perspectives from movements involving youth, women, disabled people, faith-based groups, and community forums.

Ramaphosa says the social summit focuses on people having a voice on global issues.

He says South Africa's  G20 Presidency has been premised on ensuring the interests of developing economies are raised on the G20 agenda.
