PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa has hosted Japan’s Foreign Minister, Toshi-mitsu Motegi, in Pretoria in a meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Discussions also involved International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola.
It focused on key areas, including energy security, critical minerals, and increased investment under the Tokyo International Conference on African Development.
Both countries reaffirmed their long-standing partnership, highlighting cooperation in trade, innovation, education and skills development.
The engagement is seen as part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic and strategic ties between the two nations.
