JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to unveil the revised White Paper on local government in Boksburg on Thursday.
Ahead of the announcement, Cooperative Governance Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa will meet with Cabinet members and key local government stakeholders to discuss the policy.

The revised White Paper aims to address key challenges facing municipalities, including governance, financial management, accountability and service delivery.
Government intends to implement the policy within the next three months.
The announcement comes less than two weeks before the municipal elections.
