JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to visit flood-hit villages in Giyani on Thursday.
Several roads have been closed and homes destroyed after torrential rains.
An orange level 9 warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for the Vhembe and Mopani districts.
A level 6 alert covers Capricorn and Sekhukhune.
Authorities are urging residents to take precautions as conditions worsen.
