JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance says President Cyril Ramaphosa's review must not be used to delay the work of Parliament.
In a statement, the DA says the president has the right to approach the High Court for a review.
But they urge Ramaphosa to bring any review application on an expedited basis.
This is so that the legal position is clarified quickly, and this matter is not delayed unnecessarily.

DA Leader Geordin Hill-Lewis says Parliament must also take urgent legal advice on the implications of the President’s incoming review.
The new DA leader wants to know whether it affects the establishment of the impeachment committee, and whether the committee may proceed while the review is underway.
