Rape-accused Soweto church leader to be tried in High Court

JOHANNESBURG - The trial against a Soweto church leader accused of rape is heading to the High Court in Johannesburg.

58-year-old Tshepo Ntsimane appeared briefly before the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

Ntsimane is charged with raping a 12-year-old girl.

He remains in custody and is expected back in court next Thursday.
