Rapper AKA is being laid to rest

JOHANNESBURG - A private funeral is being held for Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes.

An emotional memorial on Friday saw hundreds of fans, friends, and family members gather in Sandton.

The rapper was murdered on Florida Road in Durban a week ago.

His friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane was also killed in the attack.

Friends of the rapper paid tribute to him for his remarkable career and love for his family.

His mother, Lynne Forbes, has appealed to fans to stay calm.
