JOHANNESBURG - Barry Steenkamp, father of slain model Reeva Steenkamp, has died at the age of 80.
Steenkamp passed away on Thursday, according to the Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation.
His death comes a decade after convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius shot and killed his daughter.
Details of Barry Steenkamp's memorial service and funeral are not yet known.
The Foundation said in a Facebook post "Barry was a blessing to many, and he will be remembered with love and great fondness.
"We find solace in the knowledge that he is now with his beloved Reeva."
