JOHANNESBURG - The third accused in the Reiger Park killings alleges that he was assaulted and tortured by police.
The suspect made his first appearance in the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
He is accused of killing two members of the Anti-Gang Unit, as well as two women.

The man told the court he has no convictions or pending matters before the courts.
He will join accused number one and two when they appear in court again on 25 August.
All three accused are expected to apply for bail. Meanwhile the third accused has requested medical assistance.
