EKURHULENI - The National Association of Democratic Lawyers , NADEL, has raised concern over unsubstantiated allegations targeting members of the judiciary, including Acting Judge President Ledwaba. NADEL says the judiciary safeguards South Africa’s democracy and must be shielded from reckless attacks.
The association insists that complaints against judges should follow proper procedures, be made under oath, and supported by credible evidence, not hearsay.
NADEL urges that all allegations be handled responsibly, warning that trial by media or public opinion endangers both individual reputations and public trust in the judiciary.
