Rise Mzansi believes it can take Joburg back to its glory days

JOHANNESBURG – Rise Mzansi, like several others, is out drumming up support on the last day of voter registration.

It hopes to convince potential voters to give it a chance to lead the Johannesburg metro.

The country's richest city is a shadow of its former self and is set to be a major battleground in the November polls.

The party’s Joburg mayoral candidate, Lukhona Mnguni, said a lot needs to be done

“As Rise Mzansi, we are clear what we want to achieve this election. The power lies with the voter to get amasela out. We will launch a plan for Joburg... The campaign cannot end there,” he said.
