SOWETO - ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa is promising the world to Jabulani residents.
From rooting out corruption to improving service delivery and even increasing social grants.
The Soweto suburb is grappling with prolonged power outages, poor roads and sewage spills.
Ramaphosa is on the campaign trail ahead of the November local government elections.
“There are a number of things not going right. There's been corruption, and we're dealing with it, as well as the issue of electricity cuts. We're now at the stage of load reduction.
“People are connecting electricity illegally, which is damaging transformers. We're looking into these issues.
“So, we're ensuring that things are being done the right way at the municipal level.
Even for these youngsters, we'll create employment for them, so that we can all progress.
We also want to increase your social grant, including this child's grant and give her free education.''
