JOHANNESBURG - The Road Traffic Management Corporation is intensifying its road operations as we head into the new year.
It has seen a dramatic surge in arrests for drunken driving and attempted bribery since the festive season began.
Authorities have recorded the highest number of motorists ever arrested for offering bribes to traffic officers, with 51 taken into custody.
