SA faces growing water and sanitation problems

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is facing increasing water supply and sanitation issues.

Across the country, what might appear as isolated outages or occasional sewage spills is affecting communities in both urban and rural areas, highlighting gaps in infrastructure and service delivery.

Access to clean, safe water is a basic human right and remains a concern for many households.
