SA govt 'notes' latest Trump executive order

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa says it is concerned by US President, Donald Trump's executive order.

Pretoria says the order is not based on factual accuracy.

Trump has signed another executive order cutting financial assistance to South Africa.

He is citing disapproval of South Africa's land policy.

The most recent US data shows that in 2023, the US allocated nearly $440 million or over R8bn in assistance to South Africa.
