JOHANNESBURG - The South African Policing Union is calling on Minister Ronald Lamola to take private prisons back into the Correctional Services Department.
The union is concerned by what it calls barbaric and humiliating searches allegedly conducted in the privately run Mangaung G4S Correctional Centre in Free State.
