CAPE TOWN - Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia and the Acting National Police Commissioner Puleng Dimpane will on Friday present the crime statistics for crimes that occurred between January and March 2026.
Ahead of this announcement, Western Cape Premier Alan Winde conducted an oversight visit to Mitchells Plain to assess Operation Prosper.
Mitchells Plain is one of the 17 areas in the Western Cape where the SANDF has been deployed to assist the police in stabilising the area.
