SANDF soldiers still trapped in DRC

JOHANNESBURG - It’s been over a month since SADC leaders convened an extraordinary summit in Harare.

They decided to terminate the peacekeeping mission in Eastern DRC, initiating a phased withdrawal of troops from the region.

But a month later, the nearly 2,000 SANDF soldiers scheduled to come home are still trapped there.
