SA's health emergency | EC nurses demand jobs, set deadline for response

BHISHO - Eastern Cape nurses have given Premier Oscar Mabuyane seven days to respond to a list of their demands. 

They marched to his office in Bhisho on Wednesday.

They say the Health Department is not addressing staff shortages, while qualified nurses sit at home.

They are questioning how nurses are unemployed amid a critical shortage of essential service workers.
