GQEBERHA - Eastern Cape traditional healers embarked on a protest in Gqeberha, demanding that various issues be addressed by the health department.
Topping the list of their demands is the fact they were not consulted in the drafting of regulations that regulates their practices.
They marched through the streets of the metro and ended up at the department of health district offices.
They say the department of health keeps sidelining them when they draft regulations that affect them.
Traditional healers have directed their memorandum to the minister of health, and they are giving the department 14 days to respond.
