INANDA - A housing project in the eThekwini municipality has turned into a multi-million-rand failure that’s demanding even more money to complete.

The Namibia Stop 8 project in Inanda was meant to deliver 343 houses in 2022.

Three years after the deadline for completion and only 74 houses have been built,

With the few beneficiaries who have been given keys to their new homes being met with shoddy workmanship.

The municipality has committed to providing quality housing to the poor, but the Namibia Stop 8 project is a symbol of unfulfilled promises and gross financial mismanagement.
