JOHANNESBURG - At least five people have been killed in a car accident on the M1 south near the Athol Oaklands offramp on Monday.
Several others were injured.
According to reports, the incident happened while prisoners were being transported.
Traffic has backed up for kilometres in both directions near the scene.
