SA’s water crisis | 46 wards in Evaton without water

JOHANNESBURG - Parts of Evaton in the Vaal have been without water for two weeks.

But some residents there say it has nothing to do with the floods that befell the area.

Houses were submerged after Vaal Dam sluice gates were opened.

"Problem is we've been neglected," said a resident.

There is no assistance from the municipality. This problem of not having water has been ongoing."

There was also loss of life and residents are still looking for a 19-year-old who went missing.
