JOHANNESBURG - The 11 people accused of defrauding Sassa of R260-million will remain behind bars for another month.
Their bail hearing has been postponed.
Among the accused are eight Sassa employees, alleged to have siphoned off millions meant for social grant beneficiaries.
Magistrate Maggie van der Merwe rescheduled their bail hearing to 10 June after requesting further information about the officials' employment status.
