EAST LONDON - The Human Rights Commission’s 2025 school readiness report has identified severe infrastructure gaps across multiple provinces.
This prompted the Basic Education Minister to conduct an oversight visit in the Eastern Cape.

The visit includes inspections at schools with delayed sanitation projects and facilities classified as unsafe or non-compliant.
