CAPE TOWN - The National Sea Rescue Institute says its operations to find a missing fisherman have been expanded.
The search for 44-year-old Jacobus Greef is now into its second week.
Greef had been fishing with friends on 5 July when he was washed away by high seas between Gordon’s Bay beach and Steenbras River mouth.
Monique Greef says her family is broken as days go by without any updates on the discovery of her husband.
NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon says their teams remain searching for Greef, along with SAPS divers, and they don’t intend to call off the search until a body is discovered.
