DURBAN - Environmental activists and communities remain steadfast in their call to stop seismic surveys along the South African coastline.

Big oil and energy companies like Shell, Total and others have been attempting to drill for oil and gas reserves.

But lobby groups maintain this will be an ecological disaster for the country.
